Bollywood Actress Mugdha Godse

Early life and modeling career

Godse was born to a small middle class family in Pune, Maharastra. She has one sister, Madhura. Godse sold oil and only earned Rs. 100 a day. She then started fixing the way she dressed, how she talked, and her manners. She also started working out in the gym. She then participated in local beauty contests. After that, she participated in the Gladrags Mega Model Hunt 2002 and won. In 2004, Godse took part in the biggest modeling contest in India, the Femina Miss India contest. She reached the semi-finals and won the Miss Perfect Ten title. She then moved to Mumbai and became successful as a fashion model.

Godse made her Bollywood debut with the film, Fashion (2008), alongside Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut. She was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She also won the Apsara Award for Best Debutante- Female. In 2009, Godse appeared in two films, the first being, All The Best, and the other was Jail. Her latest film, Help, was released on 13 August 2010. She is paired with Bobby Deol in the film. Her final release of the year, Will You Marry Me?, is slated for a December release.

 It’s a difficult question as of now I am on television but rather it would be inappropriate to say against the medium while you are working in it. But personally I do enjoy films more, because you are not stuck with one character for a long time. In television, one has to keep reinventing something so that people's interest is kept alive.That is quite daunting. But, I am a restless person so I cannot concentrate on one thing for a long time.

 Another thing about television is that it is totally unpredictable. One doesn’t know what is going to happen after 10 or 20 episodes, what twists and turns are going to come, what new relationship will be formed, how your character will be expected to behave after a point.

 On the other hand, in films everything is set; you know everything, the story, the graph of the character from where you start to where you are going. So in a period of 6 months from preparation to shooting, its over. Now you can move on to something new. May be I more used to that kind of life. Now, I am not accustomed to the new kind of TV scenario. May after 2-3 months, you may find me saying that I am enjoying TV also very much. You never know!

Monika Bedi is daughter of Dr. Prem Kumar Bedi and Shakuntala and was born on January 18, 1975 in a village named Chabbewal in the district Hoshiarpur, Punjab. Her parents migrated to Norway when she was 10 months old. They run a garment store in Norway. She has a brother (Bobby Bedi). She went to school in Norway. Monica returned to India from Norway at the age of 18 and entered Bollywood.

 She is a Bollywood actress who started her film career with Suraksha (Hindi) and Taj Mahal (Telugu) in 1995.

Monica paired with Javed Sanadi, she was eliminated in round 6 although her improvement was highly appreciated by the judges and she regarded the show as a new beginning of her life and career.

The Hyderabad Court however denied her bail in the case as she failed to produce her original passport. Monica said she lost her passport in Dubai. On 25 July 2007 she was released from the Chanchalguda Central Jail and was received by her father Prem Kumar Bedi. She said that she planned to make a comeback to films and claimed to be getting offers from both Bollywood and the Telugu film industry. Upon her release from the prison, she moved back to her village, Chabbewal in district Hoshiarpur, Punjab and stayed there for a few months. After that she again works in film industries. Desi Girls And Eid -ul - Fitr

Eid is the word of Arabic language that means joy celebration and happiness. It is a religious festival for Muslims.Muslims celebrates two eids, throughout the world in one year. One is Eid-ul-fitr and other is Eid-ul-Azha. Eid -ul-fitr is celebrated when Ramdan the month of fasting is over .

No matter which eid it is it is always the day of happiness and celebration for Muslims all over the world. As Islamic calendar is the lunar calendar, the change of the month depends on the appearance of the moon.So moon sighting is the beginning of the eid day celebration. There is a great excitement for eid- ul- fitr as people are so much conscious whether there will be 30 days of ramzan or 29.

Celebration of eid- ul- fitr starts with moon sighting. Girls always have special plans for the "Chand raat". After Aftari on twenty eight day of ramzan people go to open places to fix their gaze on the western horizon to locate the crescent. Cloudy sky may disappoint them but in clear atmosphere they try their level best to find out the moon. After seeing the moon they embrace one another and exchange eid Mubarik. If the moon is not visible in any area, people remain restless and sit before T.V. and wait for the official announcement. Anyhow, after announcement, no matter if it is at midnight people come out of their houses they visit their dear ones. Youngsters have their own way of celebrating chand raat they take out their motor bikes and start one-wheeling and the whole city begins rattling with the roar of silencer less bikes.

Chand raat is a big invitation for shopping madness. People rush to bazaars and behave reckless in shopping due to the intoxicating joy of up-coming Eid. Ladies cross the limit of extravagance and men behave lords by affording. The hustle and bustle of teen girls in bazaars over the Bangle and Mahndi shops and this might be the most cherished moment for boys who usually print Mahndi at gal's hands and forearms. Though chand raat is not part of holy festival of eid yet it is a part of trend now and celebrated by the Muslims around the globe. People remain busy till late at night and Markets remain open.

On the date of eid girls get up early wash properly, wear their special dress for eid They  go to their friend’ house. Then they come back home and eat something sweet that is one of the celebrations of eid. Meanwhile guests start pouring in. Eid is a great day for children also they receive their eiddi from elders and visitors. It is a great day for every Muslim but particularly it is a special occasion for the children.

It is the day of merrymaking and celebrations but while doing so, we often forget the basic spirit of this day. This day is a gift of Allah for Muslims who sacrifice their hunger and thirst for a mouth fasting teaches us to take care of poor people always and on this day especially.

Pakistani Girls and Pakistani Culture

Pakistani Culture is very unique in terms of its social and ethical values. These values are something which are given due importance. This culture revolves around the religion of Islam which teaches equality among every human being that exists on this planet. Pakistan's culture is very diverse. It has been invaded by many different people belonging to different races. These people include the white Huns, Persian Arabs, Turks, Mongols, and various Eurasian groups. These groups differ in there way of dressing, food, religion. Pakistani culture consists of different cultures starting from the Punjabis and sindhis to the tribal cultures of the easternmost Pakistani provinces. Now these cultures have strongly been influenced by surrounding cultures of India, Central Asia and the Middle East along with other places.

Pakistani society is largely multilingual and multicultural. There are some similarities than differences that can be found as most Pakistanis belong to Aryan heritage. Like sindhis and Punjabis obviously have a language difference. Traditional family values are known every where in this multicultural environment. The rural areas of Pakistan are still dominated by their own tribal customs dating back hundreds of years.

Today due to globalization, Pakistani culture is largely influenced by the western society. Our traditional dress is shalwar kamiz which is mostly turned in to shirt and trousers. This main influence is due to the fact that many Pakistani are living abroad and they come back with this change. Many restaurants from other countries have started business in Pakistan and are making a lot business here. Media has played a wide role in bringing this change. There are many channels of different countries that we can see these days. This is something that is to some extent positive and negative also. Positively the new generation gains knowledge while negatively they are attracted to it and want to bring it in to practice. Indian movies can be seen here in Pakistani cinemas and Pakistani movies can be seen in India. This is positive in terms of Indu Muslim Relations but Indian culture can not be accepted here. Some major differences occur. Like they worship Gods consider them as statue stone. We believe in one God and it's a belief within our souls. We do not make statues. Like movies our industry is not well known but we still do make movies.

We are doing almost everything done in other parts of the world. Large number of Pakistanis lives in other parts of the world like UK, United States, Canada, Australia as well as the Scandinavian nations. Large number Pakistanis are also living in Middle East. These emigrants and their children influence Pakistan culturally and economically by travelling to Pakistan and returning and investing there. At the same time there is also a reactionary movement in Pakistan which wants to move away from these changes made by the western influence in Pakistan. This group is strongly conflated with Islam and is on a strong mission.
